This workshop provides a detailed overview of the characteristics, values and motivations of the five generations living today. By examining scenarios, participants will identify commonalities, how to bridge generational differences, and other recommendations for engaging with individuals of all ages in a productive and inclusive manner.

    As our society grows increasingly diverse and multicultural the demands on our mindsets and skills to adapt intensify. This workshop explores the Intercultural Development Continuum and Inventory, a resource to gauge and support people and organizations as they work to develop intercultural mindsets and skills. Prior to the meeting, workshop participants will receive a code to complete the Inventory and will receive their personal and confidential results at the workshop. Through small group discussions and scenarios, participants will expand their knowledge of factors that limit their effectiveness and how they can shift mindsets to increase their capacity to communicate and interact across lines of difference.

This workshop provides an overview of neurodivergence, defining it along social and medical models, and explores changing views toward it. Participants will learn about the relative strengths and weaknesses of the neurodivergent in the workplace and how to create equitable and inclusive environments to support neurodivergent colleagues.
